New Chrome OS features and more from Google
Google had a recent event for the new Chrome OS that will be used on notebooks. The OS is based on the internet browser and it is designed to go online and use applications compared to the native applications that need to be installed on the system. The great thing is even without internet connection, users can still access some documents and files. The device has a number of key features. There is the Crankshaft acceleration to easily handle GPU handle acceleration. The design is also very simple and intuitive. Number of Chrome users has reached 120 million as what people want is speed.
The OS adds syncing features and the Google web store. The store will hold some useful apps like eBay deals, Sports Illustrated, NY Times or games like Plants vs. Zombies. In tjis store you can of course download Chrome browser and Chrome OS as well.
As a pilot project Google is testing some 60 thousand Chrome OS exclusive CR 48 notebooks.
