HCL MILEAP MH 04 REVIEW – MSI Wind rebranded as HCL MiLeap MH 04 for India
HCL has done it again. It will be making rebranding MSI Wind for Indian market. It will be having 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM, an 80GB HDD, and a 10.2 inch 1024 x 600 pixel display. The price will be Rs24,999($580).

- I don’t know if the readers are aware of the fact that the HCL does not make any of the netbooks/UMPCs.
- HCL just rebrands them.
- MSI Wind is already available for Rs21000($490) in India
- Often, HCL brags at various news conferences and advertisements that it is the maker of these devices!
- MiLeap V, for instance, is just a rebranded Kohjinsha SH7. At the press conference, they said, “We have MADE this for Indian market”
My suggestion: If you want MSI Wind, get it directly. Not via HCL

Will your company give support for MSI Wind if i buy directly.
@ decayed: MSI support is fine in India.
