Microsoft and Samsung new deal

  • Sharebar

Microsoft-AndroidMicrosoft and Samsung have signed a patent deal, which allows Microsoft to get a slice of profits from every android device Samsung sells (much like the royalties Microsoft receives from HTC). In return Samsung gets to see all patents Microsoft has under its belt.

In another news Samsung will take over the MeeGo project under a new name of Tizen.

It seems that Asus knew what they were doing when they outputted Eee PC X101 in recent months. MeeGo ain’t dead yet. It will just adopt a new name and a strong supporter.
