Intel to launch faster, cheaper SSDs in coming months
Intel is preparing to launch second generation of its SSDs in the coming weeks. The new SSDs will be based on 34nm NAND flash which means that it will allow higher density SSDs (as high as 320GB) and faster performance along with lower power consumption.
OCZ and Corsair, get ready for some competition as previous generation of Intel’s SSDs were pretty much out of netbook manufacture’s range.
