Asus S101 more details (leaked)

We talked about the ASUS plans for the EEE series couple of weeks ago. Asus is preparing the S101 for release. It is just a little bigger than the Asus EEE 901. It sports golden brown color which makes it look expensive. Rumors has it that it will not be having the EEE logo.

Here are it’s rumored specifications:

• 32GB and 64GB variants
• 10.2″ Screen with LED backlight
• Shiny surface
• Coffee brown and White
• Intel Atom N270 (1.6GHz/512KB L2/533MHz FSB)
• 945GME chipset
• No optical drive
• Thickness 1.6 – 2.5 cm
• Weight ~1kg

32 GB will cost $699 and 64GB $899. To me, it looks like a nice package and it has the potential to be my next notebook/netbook
