Apollo update for Windows Phone 8
Mango update is moving along nicely. As it is over half of the Windows Phones have been updated.
Next update will roll out next year. It will be code named Apollo and it will largely offer positioning framework for new Nokia Windows Phones by integrating NFC, taking advantage of Nokia’s Navteq mapping platform and thus offering new location-based services.
Michael Halbherr, Executive VP for Location and Commerce hinted that Apollo will be tailored to Windows Phone 8.
