Acer Announces Losses In 2011
Acer has revealed that it made only meager profits in Q4 2011, with a hefty loss for the year overall. After two poor sets of quarterly results, Acer chalked up a measly $2.4 million profit in the final quarter of 2011, which meant an overall annual loss of $212 million.
Acer blamed one-off charges and operational and strategic adjustments for the dismal figures. There is optimism though – Acer says they are through the worst of it.
Here are income statements and projections for next few years.
