Zotac has updated their mini PC which now comes equipped with a Blu-ray player and dual-core Atom D525 processor. You will also find the next-generation ION GPU under the bonnet to handle all your graphic needs.

Other specs include 2GB RAM, 250GB 5400rpm HDD, HDMI out, DVI, LAN and 802.11n Wi-Fi. There is also a barebone version in which you can add your own RAM and hard disk drive.

Acer Revo 3700 packs dual-core Atom

Acer has introduced a new model to its Revo range of nettops – Acer Aspire Revo 3700. Acer calls it an "Entertainment PC" and is gunning it for the living room. It is powered by the dual-core Atom D525 processor and features Nvidia ION GPU to make sure the video playback is smooth like butter.

The size of this nettop is similar to the cable TV box and can be mounted at the rear of most HDTVs. Other specs include an HDMI port, 500GB Hard disk, 4GB RAM, DirectX 10 support, VGA port and 4x USB 2.0 ports. Expected to ship later this year with a price tag of 580 dollars.

VIA has launched the EPIA-M850 Mini-ITX board that features VIA VX900 MSP that makes it ideal for multimedia use. The new board comes in two versions – one with fan with processor running at 1.6GHz and another without any fan where the processor runs at 1.2GHz clock speed. You can equip it with up to 8GB of RAM.

The VIA VX900 also supports Chromotion 2.09 video engine that sports hardware acceleration for C1, H.264, MPEG-2 and WMV9 HD video formats. The board also has HDMI and VGA outputs, 4x USB 2.0 ports, PCIe x4 slot and 3x audio jacks.

Acer ER1401 Nettop coming to Japan

Acer will soon be unveiling their latest eMachine – ER1401-N12B in the Japanese market. This compact machine will be available for just 39,800 Japanese Yen (~$470) and will come with AMD Athlon II Neo K325 1.3GHz processor, Nvidia GeForce 9200 chipset, 250GB HDD, and 2GB RAM which are decent enough specs for a computer meant to be used at home.

MSI has added a new nettop to its WindBox line, the WindBox III which is a slim form factor system that brings the benefits of passive cooling to the table. Along with its amazing fanless design, the heart of the WindBox beats Core 2 Duo processor along with Intel GS45 + ISH9M. The hardware offers ‘great’ 3D graphics performance and comes with 4GB RAM, DirectX 10 support, Shader Model 4.0 and plethora of ports.

MSI WindBox III includes 6x USB 2.0 ports, two powered COM ports, Wi-Fi b/g/n, BT, VGA, DVI-D and HDMI output.

Acer has churned-out its first AMD-powered nettop featuring the Athlon II Neo K325 1.3GHz processor with ION GPU. Designed to occupy as little place as possible, this nettop, comes with 160GB hard disk, 2GB RAM, 802.11n Wi-Fi and Super Multi Drive.

Also there on the unit are 3x USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and S/PDIF port, packed very closely under the hood. The unit comes with a unique touchpad which shows a SIP on the its surface if you press the button on the top right. The Revo RL100 will be making its debut later this month for a hefty $4000+.

Zotac has unveiled its new range of CULV powered nettops – HD-ND22 and HD- NS21. The NS21 is powered by Intel Celeron 743 processor while the ND22 features Intel SU2300 CULV processor. That is not all as it boasts Nvidia ION GPU which is capable of 16 unified shaders.

Common specs include 2x DDR3 RAM slots, 1x 2.5-inch HDD bay, 6x USB ports, HDMI and DVI-I outputs.

Giada i30 Nettop spotted at FCC

Giada Tech’s slim nettop, i30 has been spotted over at the FCC website today and it surely looks pretty impressive. And like most of the Giada nettops, it is pretty slim and still somehow manages to pack single/dual core Atom, Nvidia ION GPU.

It comes with 2x USB 2.0 ports, combo/eSATA port, LAN, VGA and HDMI ports. There is no word when/if the Giada i30 nettop will ever make its US, but the FCC filing is a positive indication that the company has plans to bring it to States

ION-powered Shuttle XS35 now available

Shuttle has officially launched the Shuttle XS35 and is now available at the leading retailers in the US. The nettop is mere 1.5-inches thin that allows the users to save space and can be mounted behind an LCD TV/Monitor. Powered by the Atom D510 processor, it features 1080p video playback, thanks to the Nvidia ION graphics.

Ripple has launched two suave nettops in Korea – ISSB-D410 and IDSB-D510. As you can guess by its name, the ISSB-D410 is powered by Atom D410 processor while the ISDB-D510 runs on Atom D510 dual-core processor. It comes with 160GB HDD, 1GB RAM, 4x USB 2.0 ports, LAN, D-SUB and measures just 235 x 215 x 69mm.
