WiMax-totting Lavie Light netbooks released in Japan
NEC Japan has launched Lavie Light netbook which comes equipped with latest Atom N470 1.83GHz Atom processor, a massive 320GB hard disk drive, 2GB RAM and a 10.1-inch display. This NEC netbook also features built-in WiMax and an SDXC slot. Both of these two features set it apart from the majority of monotonously speced netbooks.
Of course, you get the standard features too – Wi-Fi b/g/n, Ethernet, D-Sub, 3 USB 2.0 ports, and runs Windows 7 Home Premium OS. Forgot to mention, NEC claims that it has a runtime of 8.4 hours on a single charge. That is truly magical, eh?
