Vodafone UK offers Samsung NC10 netbook – for free..kind of

  • Sharebar

Vodafone UK is the first operator in UK to offer the Samsung NC10. This Samsung NC10 netbook comes with built-in mobile broadband module. Vodafone UK is offering it for free under their 2 year contract for £25 per month with 1GB monthly bandwidth. There is another plan which offers 3GB monthly bandwidth, but will cost you £30 per month.

The Samsung NC10 is still a pretty decent netbook that comes with 160GB HDD, 1GB RAM, Atom N270 processor and has a great keyboard.

Watch out though if you’re considering getting the NC10 netbook package from Vodafone – it only comes with a 3-cell battery unlike the 6 cell version the retail Samsung is packaged with, meaning you will barely get 3 hour’s use, unlike the 7+ hours all the reviews rave about and one of the NC10′s strongest selling points.

Thanks for pointing it out DieselDen. It is pity that they are not giving it with a 6-cell battery which is in fact NC10 strongest selling point
