Toshiba Libretto W100
If you were swayed-away by the impressive features offered by the Toshiba AC100, we would say wait and check-out the Toshiba W100 first. Unlike the AC100 Smartbook, this one is based on the x86-infrastructure and runs Windows 7 and is powered by the powerful 1.2GHz Intel Pentium U5400 processor, 2GB RAM and 62GB SSD. Other features include a 1.0MP HD webcam, Wi-Fi b/g/n. Bluetooth 2.1 , one USB port, a microSD memory card slot and 8-cell battery.
There are two 7-inch displays that can work independently or together – all depends on how you wish to use them. Each display has a resolution of 1024×600. Other nifty features include a 3D accelerometer that allows you use the switch to portrait mode when the device is held like a book.
So, how would you input text on this? Well, the W100 UMPC features not one, but six different virtual keyboards with haptic feedback. There is no real touchpad too and that is Toshiba had to make a virtual one.
There are buttons on the left of the LCD that call-up the SIP (soft input panel)

The runtime is around 4 hours on a single charge and this is despite the fact that it has a 8-cell battery. The culprit are the two displays which such up quite a lot of juice.
