SONY VAIO X quick analysis on basis of pictures – direct from Japan’s CEATEC 2009

It is not an unknown fact that SONY has done a great job with the extremely elegant-looking Sony Vaio X. When one looks at it, he/she immediately gets the impression of how sleek this netbook/mini-notebook is. Apart from its nicely designed keyboard, it has a great touchpad with two left and right click buttons  too that do not require much effort to register clicks.

Thanks to the great engineers at SONY, they did not go for the flaps to make it look streamlined (like the case in ASUS EEE 1008HA). The two USB 2.0 ports are fully exposed to the user. Also present is a the Kensington lock, power port and earphone jack.

There is a webcam located just above the screen.

Again, as mentioned earlier, the keyboard looks awesome for touchtyping. The keys are well spaced, which will reduce the error rate when typing at high speeds.
