  • Sharebar

AkihabaraNews has posted a small, yet informative review of the Sharp’s Netwalker smartbook/MID. Here is the summary of the review:

(+) Excellent piece of hardware; good built quality
(+) Looks expensive
(+) Runs Ubuntu. Read our Ubuntu 9.10 review
(+) Sharp has included their own UI above Ubuntu’s UI which is actually pretty useful
(+) Does the basic jobs like surfing, emailing, twittering well
(+) Decent battery life

(-) Not very fast

Oh, and it fits inside the pocket too, unlike SONY VAIO P ;)

Like anything that is worth while, the more features that you get and how well they work the more the dollar value will go up. I’m excited to see how well this is received and will be checking in to the other models before I jump on one. Thanks for the article, I found you via http://www.smartbook.asia
