Samsung N220 Netbook unboxed

  • Sharebar

Just few days before the CES 2010, Samsung unveiled a slew of pine trail netbooks. One of them was the Samsung N220 that sported a very fine  12 hours of battery juice. N220 runs Windows 7 Starter. Samsung has also bundled an Instant On OS with it called the Phoenix Hyperspace that allows the user to go online without waiting for the Windows to boot.

Our nice friends at nDevil have just got this excellent N220 for review. Here are specs of the unit they received:

  • Atom N450 processor
  • 10.1-inch display (matte screen)
  • 1GB RAM
  • 4400mAh battery
  • Wi-Fi b/g/n
  • Bluetooth 2.1+EDR

According to the brochure I picked up today, the N220 has a 6-cell 5900 mAh battery, not 4400 mAh as quoted in your article and used by the lower spec N150. I’m based in Thailand, if that makes any difference.
