Samsung to focus to 3G netbooks
The Korean manufacture, Samsung is all set to churn-out some quality 3G-enabled netbooks this year. The company has already partnered many telecom providers, including Vodafone for mobile broadband. The upcoming Samsung netbooks would include quad-band 3G modules, manufactured by Samsung itself.
āWeāre designing our own 3G modules to cover all four bands ā including 2100MHz, 900MHz and 850MHz ā so that one product can be put onto all bandsā Newton explained. āMost quad-band modules donāt do both 850MHz and 900MHz, you get one or the other, but our quad-band module module does the lot.ā
