Marvell working on QUAD-CORE ARM!
Talk about being insane. Marvell, a popular chipmaker is working on an unnamed quad-core ARM processor. The processor uses same architecture as the Armanda 600 CPU (seen in Marvell Smartbook) and can be clocked at more than 1GHz. Marvell wants these processors to be used in the field of gaming. ARM and Gaming?
The only scenario where I see a perfect fit for it is smartbooks. But then keeping the price down of the smartbooks would be a difficult task.
