Official pictures of the HP Mini 311c netbook

A bunch of HP Mini 311c’s official pictures were discovered today. Looking at few of these pictures, it is now possible to comment on few of its hardware features.

As it can be observed in the above picture, the keyboard has sunken a bit. It is not raised as we see in most of the netbooks around.

The lid of the netbook is adorned with the patterns.

It is also now clear that it will be sold under Compaq brandname too

It has an HDMI port on its left too

We are glad to see that the placement of the left and right click buttons is now below the touchpad

The HP Mini 311c will be the first ION-powered netbook by HP. It comes with ION LE chipset, which is less powerful than the Nvidia’s ION chipset. ION LE does NOT have full support for the DirectX 10.
