Nokia’s future plans – rumor
Nokia Meego future is uncertain. There is to be one more Nokia MeeGo tablet later this year and that would be it. Gamers will be excited to hear that Nokia is coming up with fold-able 3D communicator device. Nokia made an application for a patent at the WIPO.
Applying for a patent doesn’t necessarily mean that there will be a new 3D gadget coming from Nokia anytime in the near future, but it does indicate that there will be plans to include 2 screens on one device with 2D and 3D combined.
Among other plans Nokia is also working on new Windows 8 tablet. Symbian isn’t done for Nokia as they’re planning number of devices for this and next year. Nokia is fully determined to make Windows Phone 7 work as its OS in future. Failing that, I guess there will be a second best backup plan to catch Anssi Vanjoki on a hook as Nokia’s CEO and bring Android on board.
