New Bluetooth stack brings A2DP to your netbook running Windows 7

  • Sharebar

Wanted to use that A2DP on that you bought for your netbook just to find out that it does not work with the greatest version of Windows (Windows 7)? Well, we have found a new Bluetooth stack available directly from Broadcom that lets you use A2DP headset.

Get the driver from HERE

i feel this is a little biased against windows 7, as i have been using stereo bluetooth(a2dp) on windows 7 since june with my EEE PC 1000he.

The only thing that has changed since then with the drivers is how easily it has become to reconnect my bluetooth devices, a2dp has always worked for me in windows 7.

Here are better drivers, Broadcomm 6.2.0.9700.

    For both x86 and x64.

Thanks. Just curious, how are they better?

    It’s better because it’s working.

Drivers that are published on the broadcomm (first link) are broken: install freezes on “validating device” (as for my Samsung R70)

This driver just worked like a charm. I got my Motorokr S9 HD bluetooth headset connected to my Acer aspire laptop now and it works awesome
