Netbooks to account for One out of Seven laptops in 2009
According to iSuppli, Netbooks are selling so well that netbook to notebook ratio will be 1:7 by the end of this year. Shipment of laptops (including netbooks) is increasing 10% every year, which is a clear sign that people want to buy portable devices.
Quite frankly, one of the major reason for such epic growth of netbooks was the introduction of bigger screens and bigger keyboards. Atom processor, which works great for running XP also made a significant contribution.
