Netbook manufactures clearing inventory of Windows XP netbooks
Most of the netbook manufactures are working hard to clear the inventory of their netbooks that are running Windows XP. Reason: Windows 7, which will debut in the month of October this year.
Expect $20-30 price hike in prices of netbooks as Windows 7 costs $30 more to the netbook manufactures as compared to Windows XP. Windows XP’s license was available at a fair price of $25, while Windows 7′s license is expected to cost $45-55.
