MSI WIND U135 reviews
MSI Wind U135 has just been released and we are already seeing plenty of folks already publishing its review.
The MSI Wind U135 is a pretty powerful machine that comes with the new Atom pine trail CPU, a gig of RAM and a 250GB hard disk. This new MSI runs Windows 7 starter and packs in a 6-cell battery.
According to the hands-on impressions by engadget, the MSI Wind U135 has a new keyboard, chassis, lid and touchpad. The U135 comes in two colors: silver and blue and has a pattern on its lid as-well-as on its touchpad to hide the fingerprints. That pattern is missing on the palm rest area though.
MSI is using the chiclet keys this time. However, that small right shift key may annoy some. The resolution has not undergone any change – sounding monotonous at 1024×600.
Battery life is still very impressive. With its 6-cell, 5200mAh battery, you should get somewhere between 6-7 hours of usage.
According to the laptopmag, the keyboard feels great, but they were disappointed with the battery life. In their tests, they got 5 hours 35 minutes which is not at all bad in real life scenarios. The fan was a bit loud and they found the touchpad button a bit too narrow for their liking
Note: The MSI WIND U135 won’t go on sale until January 2010.
Cost: $330
