MSI U250 now official
MSI has rolled-out the Wind12 U250 netbook which is finally here after months after its announcement. Unlike other MSI Atom-powered netbooks, this one comes with AMD Athlon II Neo (1.3GHz) processor. With the TDP of 12W and a slightly more power hungry (and powerful) RS880M chipset, you would not get fancy battery figures with this netbook. The company claims 5.5 hours of runtime with this 12.1-inch netbook, but we expecting it to run for somewhere around 4-4.5 hours.
MSI U250 can be equipped with upto 8GB RAM and 320GB HDD. Of course, the usual standard equipment is included with the netbook – 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, an HDMI port, a D-sub connector, three USB 2.0 ports, a pair of audio jacks, Gigabit Ethernet, a memory card reader and a 1.3Megapixel webcam.
