Lenovo IdeaPad U1 will hit the production soon!
At the CES 2010, Lenovo was able to grab a lot of media attention to its hybrid tablet. Yes, we are talking about the Lenovo IdeaPad U1 hybrid tablet which is a very interesting concept about a device that can serve two purposes – first it can be used as a slate tablet. Second, it can be used like a typical netbook.
Until now, it appeared that it may never hit the production, as Lenovo wanted to see if there is a market for slates. All thanks to the immense success of the iPad, Lenovo has taken the plunge and has made an announcement on their website about the Ideapad U1. There is no word on the pricing, but rumors are brewing up that it will cost around a grand – yes, two times the price of an iPad.
