Leeenux v3 released
Ok, we admit, we are a bit late on reporting this, but better late than never, eh? Alright, there is a new version of the Leeenux Linux OS in town that that brings a pile of improvements over the previous version. Compared to the earlier version, that took tits and bits from the EasyPeasy Linux OS, the version 3 uses Ubuntu Minimal as its base and features new kernel; new UNR menu and brings miscellaneous improvements and additions over the previous version.
The Leeenux is being touted as the best OS for the Eee 70x netbooks, as it does not gobbles up space like other distros. The download size is mere 450MB and after installation, it occupies just 1.3GB which makes it a perfect OS for the netbooks where storage space is a concern. Oh, and everything runs perfectly out-of-the box, at least on Eee 701G
Note that it runs just fine on other Atom-powered netbooks too.
