Kouziro UX Pine trail netbook – with two hard disks!
Kouziro, a Japanese computer manufacture has introduced a new netbook based on pine trail platform. Names as the UX series, it is powered by the Atom N450 processor, GMA 3150 chipset. It has a 10.1-inch display with 1024×600 resolution, 320GB/500GB HDD and 2GB RAM. Runs Windows 7 Home Premium. So much for the ho-hum specs. It has something which you usually won’t find in a standard netbook – second hard disk slot (160GB-500GB). Voila! You can now have a netbook with 1TB of storage.
The second hard disk can be swapped with an optical disk drive, if you wish to. However, you must turn the netbook off before you do the swapping.
Other standard features include a card reader, LAN, WiFi b/g, 2 USB 2.0 ports, VGA port, microphone and headphone jack. Comes with a 4300mAh which the Kouziro claims to run for 6.4 hours. We have got no idea how they achieved those numbers. We expect somewhere near 3 hours with that capacity
