  • Sharebar

Kohjinsha DZ got a lot of publicity when it was launched, all for one simple reason – dual displays on a netbook. Here, we are talking about two 10.1-inch LCD panels that can give you a combined resolution of 2048×600. Those are a lot of pixels to play with!

First, let us have a glance over its specifications:

AMD Neo processor (MV-40), 160GB hard disk, 1GB RAM, ATi Radeon HD 3200 GPU and its main feature – 2 TFT displays, both having 1024×600 resolution.

Ports: 3 USB 2.0 ports, webcam, multi-card reader, microSD card, headphone and microphone jack.

Pcwatch (Japanese) has done a review of it. Here are the key points of the review:

Positives:

+ HD video support
+ Windows 7 Home Premium (yay, no Starter)
+ Lot of pixels to work or play with
+ Fingerprint sensor
+ WiFi N
+ Powerful GPU for a netbook

Negatives:

- Poor battery life – 2.3 to 2.5 hours
- comes with 1GB RAM. However, that can easily be expanded to upto 4GB
- small right shift key
- a bit heavy for a nebtook – 1.84kg
