Intex launches N101-WC1100 – India only for now

Looks like the netbook war is heating up in India. Intex, a computer peripheral maker has launched its first netbook, WC1100 in India at price under $400. The netbook comes with typical netbook-ish specs that include an Intel Atom N270 CPU, 10-inch display, 1024×600 resolution, 160GB HDD and 1GB RAM (expandable to 2GB).

It also comes with Wifi (b/g), Bluetooth and a 7-in-one card reader. This netbook claims to have a battery life of around 4 hours. It is available in two colors: ‘chic red’ and ‘elegant  black’

    i saw intex notebook in Trade fait & called up at intex no.okhla,dlh,lots of time, but the lady hung up the phone telling me that customer care people will call back , but they never called back.
