Intel Application Store will be pre-installed on upcoming netbooks
After iTunes store and Windows Marketplace, it’s time now for the Netbooks’s application store as Intel is panning store for their next generation netbooks. After bringing out beta version of SDK for Intel Atom powered netbooks, Intel is all set to launch an app store that will be pre-installed on upcoming netbooks running Windows and Moblin OS in the forthcoming year. The application store’s light is focused on the bulk of applications ready and set whenever you opt for brand-new netbook.
Scott Apeland, director of Intel’s Developer Network, in an one to one conversation with CNET siad, “We have a lot of developers right now jumping all over this and writing apps and getting them ready.”
“Today, you can actually submit applications and get them in validation and be one of the first in the store when we have that available next year. We don’t have specific dates. It’s how fast we can get it up and ready.â€
He further added that “the Netbook has a lot of natural opportunity because of the keyboard and screen size versus a small handheld device.”
