TouchScreen and Stylus wonderfully sensitive (once you complete the 10s configuration of the screen to your finger), and complement the windows 7 multitouch to an extent that for the first time, i do not miss the mouse. Using wifi and low-screen brightness, i am averaging 6h battery without any palpable heat or noise. The monitor is crisp and vivid and the keyboard is enjoyable to use (note that complaints about no home and end key is by user who don`t know that fn + arrow is the equivalent thereof), although i agree with other purchasers that a backlit keyboard would be better (albeit even mac offers this luxury only in the «pro» version of macbook 2010). I frequently require tandem windows for comparing wordprocessor and pdf documents side-by-side, but the new windows 7 multitouch facilities of the tm2 screen and touchpad optimise the 12.lin screen and i am not finding it too small. The aluminium surfaces and large touchpad reinforce the aesthetic of efficiency & quality. It is somewhat heavy in tablet mode when carrying in one hand (which, like most other tablets, has no ergonomic handle), but the weight is well-balanced; besides, i generally prefer to have both hands free by resting the computer on lap or bedtop. Sum, my first foray into windows 7 and tablet pc, and i am unreservedly impressed by this hp product`s value. I have the tm2-1070ca. That thing was darn too heavy to be carried around to be honest. So far, I have found the Atom Z-series to be the coolest. I had a tx2000z that was far too heavy and ran hot as hell. Soon after the warranty expired the darn thing just stopped working - refused to boot. Apparently a heat-related issue that is well documented. We'll have to wait and see if this puppy is going to be any different. I am eyeing the Viliv S10 Blade for my next tablet device. Yes, looks good, but will it be a portable heatsink like their previous tablets???
