Gateway EC18T spotted at FCC’s website
Gateway EC18T 11.6-inch convertible netbook was found at FCC’s website. This little tablet from Gateway is has a striking resemblance when compared against the Acer Aspire Timeline 1420.
Specifications:
- Processor: 1.2GHz SU2300 dual-core
- RAM: 4GB, up to 8
- HD: 250, 320, 500GB
- Display: Intel GMA 4500MHD
- Screen Size: 11.6″
- Battery Life: 8 hrs
- Ports: HDMI, vga, 3xUSB, head/mic
Notice that earlier there was a mention of Core 2 Duo processor being used in it, but was not true. It uses Dual Core CULV processor which should still surpass the Atom processor performance-wise.
Notice the two RAM slots being used in it. If you wonder, why you have not seen that in Atom netbooks, the reason is that Atom does not allow using more than 2GB RAM.
