It is only meaningless if the individual has no use for the application and a user&#039;s need or desire to personalize, pimp or just plain have fun with their netbook is a legitimate  purpose  or use. 

If you want a business only no thrills and frills computer then configure your machine accordingly and allow others to do the same.</description>

		<description>Why would you run Compiz/Emerald on a netbook? It&#039;s just meaningless flash that uses more battery. I&#039;d be paring down services and deactivating things. It&#039;s what the people at Kuki (www.kuki.me) are doing, and will hopefully perfect some day.</description>
