EEE 1101HA only – Windows XP hangs as soon as you connect external USB pen drive

Many of the EEE 1101HA users are facing an problem where the OS hangs immediately when you connect the external USB drive. Getting around this problem is easy.  Follow these steps:

1. Shut down the system by pressing the power button.
2. Power on the system and enter the OS. Close the Parental Control feature (there’s Parental control iconat the right bottom of task bar, right click the icon, then choose exit)
