Compaq Presario CQ62Z – under 400 dollar notebook
Compaq is offering a new notebook called Presario CQ62Z which from outside looks like a typical 15.4-inch notebook with its main feature being its price tag – $380 and with that crazy price tag, it certainly got our attention. Processor is AMD V-Series 2.2GHz V120 and comes with 2GB RAM (upto 4GB supported), 250GB HDD (upto 500GB) and ATi Radeon HD 4250 graphics and a 6-cell battery.
The display is not old-school and incorporates HD resolution – 1366×768. Not bad – not bad at all! So, it all comes down to this – if you want a portability, do not even look at this. In fact, just pretend that you never saw this notebook and get a netbook. Otherwise, if you are on budget and looking for a cheap computer for home use, get this. This notebook is cheap – really.
