  • Sharebar

BenQ, a netbook manufacture from the forgotten world, has finally unveiled its first pine trail netbook – JoyBook U103. Most peculiar feature of this netbook is the fact that it combines both SSD and hard disk under its hood.

This Joybook can be configured with upto 500GB hard disk and 32GB of solid state goodness. Comes with 6-cell battery which should allow it to run for around 8 hours. There is also an option to go-in for the 3-cell version, if you wish to shed 200-300gm off the total weight. Expect 4 hours of run time from the 3-cells.

There is optional HSDPA support too. BenQ U103 is already on sale in China, Taiwan and Thailand.
