Atom N550 Benchmark
The dual-core Atom N550 was officially unveiled at the Computex 2010. When the whole world was reporting that the Asus 1015N netbook is powered by the Atom N475, we actually dwelled down into its specs and stated that it actually comes with the dual-core Atom N550 processor.
Anyway, folks at notebookitalia has put the Atom N550 to tests and the results look very pleasing with N550 beating every single Atom processor out there, including the Atom D510 that is meant for the nettops. Compared to the standard Atom N450 processor that has a TDP of 5.5W, the Atom N550 has a TDP of 8.5W.
