Atom N455 and N475 to support DDR3 RAM
Remember the N45x and N47x processors that we mentioned a while back? Well, those have been named as Atom N455 and Atom N475 respectively.
The Atom N475 will run at a clock speed of 1.83GHz and will support the DDR3 RAM modules. Likewise, the N455 CPU will have full support for DDR3 RAM, but will work at a slightly lower clock speed – 1.6GHz. There is a little difference in TDP too – 6.5W (N475) versus 5.5W (N455).
Expect the Atom DDR3 machines to land in the H2 2010.
