Asus might take on Toshiba’s notebook business
Asus is planning to take on Toshiba’s notebook business. ASUS aims to be in the list of top three vendors by 2011 and also wishes to save its position in the notebook market.
Besides, Jonney Shih, Asus chairman said that Asus exchanged words regarding this with Toshiba, but nothing could be said so early as nothing is yet zeroed.
It must be noted that if, ASUS does takes over Toshiba’s notebook business, all of its netbooks will also come under ASUS’ control. ASUS will then, have chances to become number 1 in netbook market
