Asus Eee Pad coming in July
Asus’ chairman, Jerry Sheh has announced that the company will be bringing its much-anticipated Eee Pad in the month of July. Also, Asus will be showing-off its Pad at the Computex 2010 (June 1-5).
For some grotesque reason, Asus says that Eee Pad will be competing with Apple iPad and they stressed on the fact that the Eee Pad sports features not found on the iPad such as USB port, webcam and Flash. The Eee Pad is slated to be priced somewhere between $480-510 after bundling with cellular network telecom services.
Commentary – Flash on ARM-based devices has never ran like a duck soup and story will be no different for the Eee Pad. Even after months and months of waiting, the Eee Pad is yet to hit the market.
