Asus 1016p dissected by FCC

Last month, the Asus Eee 1016p was spotted at the FCC’s website and this time, they have posted pictures showing the innards of this netbook. The following pictures can be extremely helpful for someone looking forward to do a HDD swap.

Unlike the second generation Eee PCs (Eee 1000x-series), you do not get direct access to the HDD. You must remove the keyboard and unscrew bunch of screws to get access to the HDD. [FCC]
