It deletes everything when you update firmware, you have to PAY for HD codec, I have tried to install the DVD software that it comes with on 4 different operating systems, 2 linux 2 windows, it locks up at least twice a day, and you have to pay for the gps service as well. How in the heck can you call that opensource or free ware... I probably won't recommend this product to anyone nor will I keep it. Thank god for best buy 30 day return policy.
