Acer Aspire D260

  • Sharebar

Acer D260 is nothing but an updated version of the immensely popular Acer Aspire D250 netbook. This netbook claims to be first netbook to run Google Android system and Windows 7 on the same machine. We had a chance to play around with this netbook and were not much impressed with the Android part of the device and it looks like Acer made a rough port to x86 platform and shoved it in D260. It runs older version of Android (Android 1.5 OS) and it was crystal clear that Acer did not put in a lot of efforts in polishing the Android for the netbook. Anyway, here is a quick rundown of its specs:

  • 10.1-inch display
  • 1024×600 pixel resolution
  • 1.66GHz Atom N450/N455
  • upto 250GB HDD
  • Wi-Fi b/g/n
  • Optional Bluetooth 3.0

The price of the Acer Aspire D260 is 298 dollars. update – check out Acer D260 unboxing pics
