Acer to shake hands with Insyde for netbook Instant-On OS
Acer is expected to shake hands with Insyde, a BIOS software developer over the development of a new instant-on OS for their netbooks.
The current Acer’s instant on OS (Linpus Lite) takes nearly 8 seconds to boot up. It would be great, if they are able to bring it down to under 5 seconds with their relationship with Insyde.
