Thankz a lot for your little tip. I spent hours before looking for just that and acer wants to charge 150 for a bios pasword removal. You just saved my netbook. Thank you.

I spent hours yesterday trying to get this to work properly and i couldnt get this method to work for the life of me. however i found a much easier/faster way. open the wifi expansion cover and look for 2 solder pads labeled “RTC(RST)”. short those pads together while turning it on and your password is now GONE! :)

Same here, nothing happend with my superv isor pass, the update i made it my self with a exe file from windows, not so complicated ….

Anyway… i wan t to change from 8Mb of video card to something more ..can i ?

Well last time I performed a bios update on my d250, I just extracted the file and executed the exe.
