11.6-inch Acer Aspire 1810T to be sold as Acer Aspire 1410 in the US
The 11.6ā Acer Aspire Timeline 1810T netbook is now on sale in the US, but with a different name, Aspire 1410. This long-awaited model is different from the rest of the netbooks as it comes with anĀ Intel ULV SU3500 (1.4GHz) processor, 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD and GMA 4500MHD Graphics, none of which are found in regular netbooks.Ā It also has a Webcam, draft-N wireless LAN, 6-cell battery and Vista Home Premium OS.
Keep in mind that SU3500 is more powerful than any Intel Atom processor made till date regardless of higher clock frequencies being possesed by the Atom processors. This also means that Vista would run much better on 1810T than on any Atom powered netbook.
