HP 5102 review
HP Mini 5102 is the well-bred mixture of style and performance. Powered by the newest Atom processor, the N450 that runs at 1.66GHz clock speed, it can run for upto 10 hours on a single charge. The 5102 comes with a 95% of full size keyboard and a brushed aluminum back that gives it a much more professional look than the usual glossy netbooks that we come across everyday. There is a nice bright 10.1-inch display with a spill resistant chiclet keyboard. It runs Windows 7 Starter OS and comes with 160GB 7200rpm HDD and 1/2GB RAM.
If you buy it with the default configuration, it comes with a WSVGA (1024×600) screen that is very common on netbooks. But, HP does gives you an option to equip it with a WXGA screen (1280×800). This is the same resolution as carried by most of the 14-15-inch notebooks. More pixels means you will be able to see more content at a glance. Comes with a 4-cell or 6-cell battery with a 10h+ run time.

Note that you can even squeeze in a multi-touch capacitive screen, if you wish to, but that would not make a lot of scene in this form factor as the device does not allow you to use it like a tablet.
Even the laptopmag has praised a lot about its battery life which lasts for more than 10 hours on a single charge. They praised about its loud speakers and spill resistant keyboard. However, they found the fan to be a bit too loud. At the same time, its a bit pricier ($420) than the usual netbooks that cost around $300-$350.
