Gateway EC14D01h is the expansion of the Gateway’s EC-range. Let’s put it in simple words – it is the direct contender to the Dell Mini 11z netbook which also comes with a CULV processor (Intel Pentium SU4100 ULV processor). The Gateway EC14D01h runs Windows 7 Home Premium OS (64-bit) and has a sharp 11.6-inch display. It is one of the few netbook-size computers out there that come equipped with DVD drive.

So, if you are one of those people that simply cannot do without a optical drive, this is something you should go for. Oh, and it comes with a nice 6-cell battery too that should give you a good runtime of about 6 hours.
