Too many Android App Stores – Bad news for Android Smartbooks
Google Android OS was tailor made for mobile phones only, but lately it is being used in much bigger devices. The Android market, unfortunately can only be used for mobile phones only.
To counter this problem, Archos has launched its own App Store called AppsLib. HP, Dell and Lenovo together joined hands and launched and Android store, insydemarket.
Even Handango and GetJar are offering Android apps.
It is high time that Google takes some crucial steps in creating a single, unified Android store to cater to the devices beyond cell phones. Otherwise, there would be too much of confusion for the users, not to mention less number of apps to choose from
