Tegra 3 all set for production
Nvidia’s Tegra 3 is all set to hit to the production and when it becomes available to the OEMs and manufactures, it will phase-out the capable Nvidia Tegra 2 chip. The chip is destined to debut in the mid-2011 (Q2 2011). Now, here is the sad part – sales of the last two generations have not crossed the 100,000 sales mark and that includes the so called “popular Microsoft Zune HD sales”.

Funny thing is even though Nvidia reduced the price from 30 dollars to 15, the OEMs still did not show much interest in adopting the Tegra platform. Let’s hope all that changes with the Nvidia Tegra 3
