Samsung Galaxy Tab runs Android OS
We have been hearing about the Samsung Galaxy Tab for quite a while now and finally, a tablet called the Galaxy Tab has surfaced on the Samsung South Africa blog. This tablet has a 7-inch display and runs Android operating system. Samsung has modified the interface (TouchWiz UI) of the tablet to resemble the Samsung Galaxy S smartphone.
In other news, Slashgear is reporting that Samsung is prepping not one, but three Android tablet that will be making their debut during the Christmas holiday season. However, there are chances that the 7-incher might be launched early in August in Korea, to be offered by SK Telecom, Korea. Samsung is calling this 7-inch tablet the SPad and is rumored to have both Wi-Fi and 3G radios.
